Creative Learning and Innovative Teaching

The importance of creative learning and innovative teaching has been discussed in many policies, researches, and education institutions in various country. The government works with many educators together, such as lecturers, students, teachers, researchers in order to foster the quality of education by applying creative learning and innovative teaching in their curricula, materials, schools and its classes. A study mixed methods from various sources, such as literature review, workshop, analysis of curricula, teachers survey, educational stakeholder interview and cases study have been done to provide a better understanding of what aspects are dealt to enhance creative learning and innovative teaching. This essay will elaborate the major areas where effort and improvement is needed to enable more creative learning and innovative teaching.
First of all, the prominent aspect is curricula. Scheme of cognitive chain and creative potential development can be designed in school curricula or learning objective. In addition, curricula can facilitate a product of thinking skill of creativity. For instance, creative thinking or creative problem solving. In brief, it is seen as an integral part of the learning process to help students to be successful learners, creative citizens and innovative contributors.

The second aspect is pedagogies, assessment and teacher training. It is a crucial component to create a stimulating and creative environment and to foster innovative teaching process. For example, teachers are key figures in constructing a creative climate within their pedagogies competency. Moreover, teachers using assessment can measure creativity as a process, student achievement and skills. Besides, teacher training can enhance the educator behavior and attitudes are largely dependent on their skills and experience.
Furthermore, ICT and digital media plays astonishing role in this case. Some experts believed that it helps teaching and learning process efficiently and innovatively. It is also supporting them for pedagogies purpose and assessment easily such as, learning material sources from internet, learning media which is created using software and some tools. In addition, it can be used to support interaction between teachers, pupils and parents. Online education system can provide parents access to pupils' learning materials and tasks, which will help them to understand new learning approaches and support their children at home with their schoolwork. At the same time, this would reduce parents' need for traditional grades as a means of knowing how their children are progressing at school.

In conclusion, creative learning and innovative teaching are important in education. At least, there are three factor to enable creative learning and innovative teaching, such as curricula, pedagogies, assessment and teacher training, ICT and digital media. I suggest to everyone especially people who made policies, thought, worked, taught, and learnt in education sector to do, help, and support the practice of creative learning and innovative teaching in order to improve the quality of education.
